It’s been a while since we last hosted a seminar, so we are thrilled to announce that we’ll have a seminar in October 2024. We are very pleased that Junya Nakatsugawa Sensei has agreed to make the long journey from New York to join us for our seminar.

Junya is based in New York and has a rich and unique Aikido background. His Aikido journey started in 1976 with Ariff Mehter Sensei and Yusuf Mehter Sensei in Syracuse, New York. After high school, Junya became an uchideshi at New York Aikikai and learned a great deal from Yamada Sensei under his mentorship. During the almost five decades of practice, he has been very fortunate to study with many notable instructors including Yamada Sensei and Sugano Sensei.

Whether you’re a seasoned Aikidoka or a beginner, this seminar is open for every level and every style. We are looking forward to an exciting seminar and hope to see many motivated participants.
